He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Allen Burnette; his parents, Willis Burnette and Sylvia Burnette (Wolfenbarger); his siblings, Cecil Bucker (George), Roy Burnette (Geneva), Fred Burnette (Bonnie), Hubert Burnette (Wanda), Ruby Wolfenbarger (Glen), Virlin Burnette (Frankie), Polly Johnson (Doyle) and Louise Oaks (Jack); and his close friend Ronnie Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Burnette (McHone); his children, Rick Burnette (Barbara), Karla P'Simer (Gary) and Sharon Brillhart (Frank); his grandchildren, Adam Burnette (Vivian), Ashley Roach (Jamie), Sam P'Simer (Becca), Maddie, Drew, Jack and Ellie Brillhart; his great grandchildren, Sarah, Sophie, Analeigh, Liam and Lucy; his brother Dennis Burnette (Betty); and his close friend Glenn Coppock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
