He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wesley Wheeler Jr. and Pat Barber Wheeler; and his son Wesley Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Clark Wheeler; his daughter Kim; and his granddaughter Brittany (Brett Hawkins).
