He is survived by: his sisters, Tammy Hearon (Robert) and Pam Nichols (John); his nephew Matt Hearon (Stephanie); his great-nephew Samuel; his great-niece Lydia; his nephew Jonathan Nichols (Jennifer); his great-nieces, Amelia, Penelope and Elizabeth; his great-nephew Jack; his aunt Betty Baker; and his uncle Hubert Garland (Catherine).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Blount County Humane Society.
