He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Spurlock, Sr. and Shirley Ann Johnson Spurlock; and his grandparents, Ben G. Spurlock, Effie Spurlock, Emery Johnson, Eva Johnson Smith and Raymond Smith.
He is survived by: his brother Everett Spurlock, Jr. (Alene Brewer Spurlock) of Louisville, Tennessee; and his nieces and nephews, Brandon Wayne Spurlock and Allison Anne Spurlock.
