He is survived by: his wife Billie Smith Bowers; his children, Doyel Bowers and Brenda Harmon (Jeff); his grandchildren, Chris Bowers (Robin), Amy Bowers McKenzie, Melissa Johnson (Jody) and Angela Bowers; his great grandchildren, Samual McKenzie, Ellie McKenzie, Olivia Bowers, Nolan Bowers, Savanna Johnson and Chase Dunlap; his nephew Dean Houk (Grady); and also, Jimmy Millsaps and Carlotta Millsaps. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
