It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merrill D. Moore Jr. of Louisville, Tennessee, born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill D Sr. Moore and Lorena Moore; and his wife Patty Moore. He is survived by: his children, Doug Moore (Robyn Moore) and Melissa Shaw; and his grandchildren, Seth Moore, Ethan Moore, Jonathan Beck, Patricia Hook and Lauren Mishoe.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to: Monte Vista Baptist Church Mission Fund, Chilhowee Baptist Center, or Carson Newman College.
