He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Simerly, Sr. and Pauline Simerly; and his sister Martha Tucker. He is survived by: his wife DeeAnn; his daughter Jennifer Simerly; and his sisters, Wanda Cooper and Mary Ann Headrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
