He is survived by: his wife Ruth Potter Maples; his son James Maples; his daughter-in-law Laura Bost; his son David Maples; his daughter-in-law Tina Maples; his daughter Dana Lowe; his son-in-law Dexter Lowe; his grandchildren, Josie Maples, Zachary (Drew Lowe) and William (Savanah Wortham); his great grandchild Lillie Wortham; his siblings, Elizabeth Potter, Cliff Reagan, Bill Reagan and Mark Maples; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Sluder (George Burgess) and Lee Potter (Glenys Potter); and also, Georgie Sluder and Wanda Potter.
