He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Bain and Mae Bain; and his siblings, Anderson Jr., Gene, Fred, Pete, Jim Bain of Kentucky, Pauline Philpot and Nell Maples.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bain; his children, William Bain (Bill), Pam Bain, Lori Guffey of Maryville and Beth McClain of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Bain, Jenny, Lucy McClain and Eve Bain. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.
