He is survived by: his wife Eloise Shull Newman; his sons, Bill Newman (Cindy) of Candler, NC, Bob Newman (Kim) of Maryville, TN, Ben Newman (Yvette) of Knoxville, TN, Brad Newman (Sherri) of Herndon, VA and Bart Newman (Julie) of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Mark Newman (Whitney), Jonathan Newman (Rebecca), Lindsey Newman, Taylor Newman, Victoria Newman, Andrew Newman, Brittany Newman, Stephanie Newman, Bryson Newman, Raelie Newman and Paris Newman; and his siblings, Jim Newman (Mary) of Marietta, GA, Frank Bige Newman (Roberta) of Harrison, TN, Carolyn Tallent (Claude) of Athens, TN and Ralph "Pete" Newman (Carolyn) of Athens, TN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
