He was predeceased by: his former wife Bea; and his siblings, Arlin, Earl Yates and Reba Murr. He is survived by: his spouse Begatha Yates (Jones); his sons, Neal (Ann Yates) and Bruce (Josie Yates); his grandchildren, Terry, Wesley and Kayla Yates; his great grandchildren, Waylon, Hayden and Bailee; and his siblings, Jimmy Yates, Louise Self, Shirley Duggan, Evelyn Moser, Joyce Alexander and Katherine Durman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
