He was predeceased by: his parents, Audie F. Kirkland and Bertie Kirkland (Lane); his wife Donna Jean Kirkland (Walters); his siblings, Patricia Kirkland, Edna Houser, Vina Ferguson, Leona Miller, Faye Wilson, Nell Watkins and Robert Kirkland; and his son-in-law Jim Littlefield.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry (Leon Simerman), Randy (Susan Kirkland), Denny (Lisa Kirkland) and Clinton (Cindy Littlefield); his grandchildren, Jane Wynn Kuker, Heather Combs (Curt), Nathan Simerman, Vincent Leal, Jared Kirkland (Emily), Nic Kirkland (Adele), Trisha Riley (Thomas), Cassandra Swain, TJ Daugherty, Dustin Littlefield, Matthew Littlefield and Ashley Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Lunabella, Jaxon, Ziva, Cian and Layla; and his siblings, Alene Parks, Junior Kirkland, James Kirkland, Cleo Sherrill and Roxie Robinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
