She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ernest and Osie Ellavie Dockery (Debity); her sons, David Gerald Steele and John William Steele (Isaac Byrd) of Maryville; and her brother James Dockery.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Waldroup (Poinsettia Byrd) of Loudon and Doyle Byrd (Daphnie Sharp) of Florida; and her siblings, Emma Jean Henry of Madisonville, Leslie Dockery (Olga) of Athens and Creed Dockery (Gail) of Madisonville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
