Thressie was predeceased by: husband Walter Kirkland; grandson Justin Dotson; son-in-law Bobby Dotson; siblings, Fred, Leonard Amburn, Dallie Mckeehan, Ruth Anderson, Grace Steed and Virdell Kirkland; and parents, Zeke Amburn and Cora Amburn.
Thressie is survived by: daughters, Brenda Russell (Howard) and Wilma Dotson; grandsons, Brent Russell (Gidget) and Derek Russell; great grandchildren, Makenna and Brody Russell; and sister Odell Dailey. Thressie is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
