He was predeceased by: his wife June Hatfield; his parents, Berthold Hatfield and Margaret Hatfield; and his son Steve. He is survived by: his children, Terri Conner (Randy), Gary Hatfield (Rita), Jeff and Mark Hatfield; and his stepdaughters, Glenda White, Karen Collins, Susan Russell (Estes) and Ginger Sorey (Paul). He is also survived by 10 step grand- children, 11 great- grandchildren and 13 great- great- grand- children.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel (124 Church St, Sneedville, TN 37869). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Briar Creek Church Cemetery (174 Mabe Hollow Rd, Sneedville, TN 37869).
