He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Gess; his parents, Olen Gess and Ruth Gess; and his sister Michelle Pincheff. He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Hertzsch and Nicole Rabern (Jeff); his grandchildren, Travis, Kaitlyn, David, Chelsie, Jared and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Kalvin, Calum and Thea; and his sisters, Sandy Rose (Allen) and Pam Frye (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
