He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Calvin and Maybell Russell (Taylor). He is survived by: his wife Mildred Russell (Denley); his children, David E. Russell, Sr. of Booneville, MS, Dorothy A. (Marvin Fulwood) and Debbie K. (Bob Hare); his grandchildren, Rebecca Mahurin, Diane Russell, David Russell, Jr. and Elam Hal Rusk; and his half-sister Linda Thrasher of Amarillo, TX.. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
