She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald "Jerry"; and her parents, John Edward and Lorena Hipps (Hallock). She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chip" Knepp (Corinne) of Louisville and Jill Broer (Dirk) of Silver Spring, Maryland; her grandchildren, Griffin, Torie, Isabelle, Samie and Drake; and her siblings, Barbara Lewis of St. Mary's, Jackie Anderson of Frenchville and John Hipps of Mifflinville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Merlyn may be made to the Monroe County Animal Shelter.McGill.
