She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Edward Blake and Betty Lucille Scherer; and her sister Rhonda. She is survived by: her husband Phil; her daughter Andrea of Des Moines; and her brother Wendell (Karol) of Douglas, Wyoming.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation or to the American Diabetes Association.
