She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Howard (Rab); her parents, Lonnie Oody and Arlee Oody; and her sisters, Lois Jameson and Minnie Belle Jenkins (Gene Jenkins).

She is survived by: her son Mike (Mid Howard); her grandchildren, Cody (Amanda Maples) and Robin (Mark Cooke); and her great grandchildren, Ruth Maples, Emily, Maggie, Ellie, Nora Cooke and Eli Cooke. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
