He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucius A. Shropshire and Myrtice Shropshire (Satterfield); and his siblings, Sarah Ellen Jones and Bevo Shropshire. He is survived by: his wife Judy Shropshire; his daughter Bonnie; his son-in-law Sean Key; his granddaughters, Isabelle and Sophia Key; his son Peter; his daughter-in-law Jackie Shropshire; his brother Sam Shropshire; and his nephew Sid Shropshire. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID, the service was postponed.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests honoring Lue by donating to the American Heart Association or /or the American Diabetes Association.
