He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Murrell and Mildred Murrell (Patrick); his stepmother Mary Murrell; and his wife Carolyn Murrell (Fussell). He is survived by: his sons, Michael Murrell (Linda Klingerman) and Mitchell (Stacey Murrell); and his brothers, Bob (Faye Murrell), Dennis (Shirley Murrell) and Mark (Karen Murrell). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
