It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joy McGarvey (Loudon, Tennessee), born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hainline and Mildred Hainline (Ayres); and her siblings, Edith Hainline, Paul Hainline and Mark Hainline.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth D. McGarvey; her children, Philip McGarvey (Patricia) of Loveland, CO, Timothy McGarvey (Sharon) of Rushford, NY, Sharon Wheeler (Steve) of Midlothian, VA and Stephen McGarvey (Jana) of Winter Park, FL; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Hainline and Rosemary Hainline. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family respectfully asks attendees to wear masks.
Memorials may be made in Joy's memory to Our Place (ourplacetn.org), day center for Alzheimer's/Dementia to be built later this year in Tellico Village.
