He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Viar and Goldie Easter Viar; and his siblings, Nell Selvidge, Billy, Benny, Charles, William, James and Jerry.
He is survived by: his son Ray Viar; his grandchildren, Josh, Kelly Viar, Bethany and Jeremy Gray; and his great grandchildren, Silas and Sabin Gray. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
