He is survived by: his wife Donna Cartwright Viars; his children, Tony Viars of Loudon, Karen Willett of Loudon, Jonathon "Scooter" Viars of Loudon, Melissa Broyles of Loudon and Robert Hardy of Loudon; and his siblings, Charles E. Viars (June) of Lenoir City, Deloris "Lois" Dotson of Lenoir City and Clyde Viars (Ann) of Lenoir City. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
