It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Thompson of Loudon, Tennessee, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Thompson and Altheia Thompson; and his brother Tommy Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Angelica Thompson), James (Veronica Thompson), Jake Thompson, Chris Budds and Jennifer Capes; his grandchildren, Andrew, WesLee, Kaleb, Ryder, Raiden Thompson, Aly Budds, Rebecca Mott, Paige and Justin Capes; his great grandchildren, Finn and Wyatt; his siblings, Roy Thompson, Sally Collins, Charlie Thompson and Crawford Thompson; his nieces, Brittany Shubert, Jennifer Kinkead, Sara Powers and Maggie Shubert; and his cousin Margaret Jean Shubert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
