With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Reel Pope of Loudon, Tennessee, who passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jo Ann Reel Pope to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her sons, Jerome Pope and John Pope; and her brothers, William "Rod" Reel, Claude Reel, John Carl Reel and Raymond Jack Reel.

She is survived by: her significant other James Andrew Pope; her grandchildren, Andy Pope, Macy Starkes (Luke), Morgan Pope and Johnna Duda (Deven); and her sisters-in-law, Melba Reel Hargiss and Dottie Reel. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many close and special friends.

Contributions in memory of Jo Ann may be made to the Tennessee 4-H Foundation, 100 River Road, #112, Loudon, Tennessee 37774 to benefit the Jerome Pope scholarship.
