He was predeceased by: his father Elbert Alton "E. A."; his daughter Susan Tracy; his grandson Will Lowe; and his brother Robert "Bob" Lowe. He is survived by: his wife Shelba Jean Lowe; his children, Jay Alton Lowe and Sheryl Elaine Lowe of Loudon; his grandchildren, Jack Alton Lowe, Samuel Taylor Lowe, Joseph Chadwick Coker and Jessica Lynn Coker; and his sisters-in-law, Anita Lowe, Anna St. Pierre and Sara Shaw. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
