He is survived by: his wife Irene Simpson; his children, Susan Hackney (Mark) and Bruce Simpson; his grandchildren, Gregory Hackney and John Paul Hackney; and his sister-in-law Mary Bowden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends.
