She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wilson and Nancy Ann Peeler (Baker); her daughter Brenda Bean (McKelvey); her grandson James David Thomas, Jr.; the father of her children Samuel Virgil McKelvey; and her son-in-law Dwight Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helen (Larry Akins) and Kay Williams; her grandchildren, Denise Thomas, Michael, Kristi Aikens and Jeff Aikens; and her close friends, J. D., Peggy Watkins and Wesley Bivens. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
