He was predeceased by: his father Neola E. Hodges (Price). He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Herndon-Hodges; his children, Nora Lynn Hodges-Smith (Michael Smith) and George Andrew Hodges (Keila Andrade Maia); his grandchildren, Ryan Michael Smith, Paloma Gia Hodges and George Benson Hodges; and his stepson Timothy T. Thompson.
He was a member of the East Tennessee Regional Antique Car Club, Antique Automobile Club of America, Early Ford V8 Foundation, National Knife Collectors Association and local chapters.
