He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Longmire; his parents, Walter Longmire and Ola Lee Longmire; and his siblings, Helen, Dorothy "Dot", Mary, LaVaughn, Jim, Joe and Larry.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Melton, Rick Longmire and Genie Longmire; his grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson, Rebekah (Kate Melton) and Scott (Hunter Longmire); and his siblings, Kay Williams, Jack and Ray Longmire. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
