He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell Buchanan and Frank Buchanan; his niece Crystal Jenkins Hickman; and his grandmother C. R. Harper. He is survived by: his siblings, Terry Buchanan Carpenter (Tim), Kimberly Buchanan Tucker (Rick) and Steve Buchanan. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.
