He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Lee Nelson; and his mother Cora Lee Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Nelson; his children, Cindy Smith, Sandra McCullough (Shelton) and Eddie Nelson (Mechelle); his stepsons, Johnny Harwood (Karen) and Brad Harwood; his father Robert Nelson; his siblings, David Nelson (Mary) and Joyce Burton; his grandchildren, Brandi Sweet (Steven), Haley Jones, Ashton McCullough, Shelby McCullough, Lauren McCullough, Daniel Henry and Kristal Harwood; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Sweet, Hunter, Bryson, Jackson and Ernest. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
