He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Underwood and Doris Cheatham Underwood; and his siblings, Donna Underwood Purdy, Walter Underwood and David Underwood.
He is survived by: his siblings, John Underwood and Teresa Underwood Hardin; and his close friends, Deborah Ricker Payne (Donald Payne) and Pantry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
