She was predeceased by: her parents, Forester Hatmaker and Anna Mae Hatmaker (Cooper); her grandson Joe Nelson; and her brothers, Paris, Clayton, Owen, Ernest, Hascue "Hack" Hatmaker, Esta Prater, Eva Miller, Erma Dagley and Katie Prater.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Nelson of Loudon; her children, Ernest Nelson (Wanda) of Loudon, David Nelson (Mary) of Lenoir City and Joyce Burton of Knoxville; and her sister Laura Grace Miller of Oliver Springs. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives.
