He was predeceased by: his mother Ollie Mae Maples. He is survived by: his wife Eve Heriot Maples; his children, Stephen Scott Maples of Maryville and Sherry (Daniel Watson) of Huntsville, AL; his grandson Andrew Watson (Nikki); his great grandchild Layla; and his grandson Michael J. Watson.
