He was predeceased by: his son Brandon Eugene Murrell; his parents, Shirley Murrell and Billy Murrell; and his siblings, Randy Murrell and Paula Renea Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Brandi Murrell; his children, Jakob Hompesch of Loudon, Gage Murrell of Loudon, Christopher Shane Murrell of Knoxville and Samantha Marie Smith of Alabama; his daughter-in-law Kayla Murrell of Corryington; his brother Jacke Lynn Murrell of Knoxville; his father-in-law Sondai Russell of Loudon; and his brother-in-law Timothy Russell of Loudon. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
