It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Akins Russell of Loudon, Tennessee, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Akins and Fannie Belle Akins (Morgan); her husband Billie Ed Russell; her great grandchild Damian Russell; and also, Jess Akins, Jr. (Bettie), Everett "Jug" Akins (Hazel), Franklin "Dee" Akins, Billy Joe Akins, Nell Akins and Gerry Nichols (Tom).
She is survived by: her children, Billie Jean Nicholson, Larry (Barbara Russell), Carolyn (Tim Harper) and Joan (Mike Brackett); her grandchildren, Angela Joan Nicholson, Bryan Russell (Deidra), Christopher Russell, Marian Harper, Jessica Harper and Amy Gifford (Josh); and her sister-in-law Kaye Akins Wallace. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
