He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Purkey; his parents, Ralph Purkey and Susie Purkey; and his brother Donnie Purkey. He is survived by: his children, Carol Shubert (Bobby) and Tim Purkey; and his grandchildren, Michaela Shubert and Macy Shubert. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
