He was predeceased by: his wife Anna; his daughter Kim Miles; his siblings, Leon Swicegood, Delores Earlywine, Rowena Stevens, Joyce Dunlap and Estelle Pagans; and also Boyd Miles.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Pam Hassler of Merridith Hicks; his grandchildren, Kristen Fox, Tonya Miles, Sara Mayhorn, Cecil Mayhorn, Kara Collins, Jason Collins, Hannah Preston and William Preston; his great grandchildren, Darlene Miles, Zachary Mayhorn, Elizabeth Mayhorn, Anna-Lynn Vann, Olivia Robinson and Arianna Collins; his siblings, Jerry Swicegood, Jack Swicegood, Donna Norton Gay and Elaine Swendle; his sisters-in-law, Birdie Jones, Charlotte Bagley and Dorothy Hudson; and also Jeff Hassler of Merridith Hicks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
