He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William and Lillie C. Hicks (Randolph); his grandchildren, Zeke Lineham and Jennifer Adrian Bright; and his brother Raymond Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hicks (Presley); his children, Yvonne (Preston Bright), Amanda Beth Lineham and Jeff Hicks of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Matt (Joan Bright), Mark Bright, Stephanie Bright, Josh (Raven Lineham), Misty (Andrew Ryan) and Zach (Kaycee Lineham); and his sisters, Lillie "Tootsie" Nicholson (Harrison), Carrie Nichols (L. H.), Bettye Allen (Hubert) and Patsy Houston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
