He was predeceased by: his wife Hester Malone; his mother Reece Dutton; his siblings-in-law, George Stafford and Mary "Tootsie" Crox; and his nephew Charles "Tommy" Crox.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Juanita Patterson (Johnny) of Lenoir City, Becky Crox of Lenoir City, Larry Stafford (Kim) of Kingston and David Stafford (Betsy). He is also survived by Several great nieces & nephews, and great-great nieces & nephews.
