He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Edward and Julia Ann Russell (Akins); and his great grandchild Damien Russell. He is survived by: his wife Christine Russell (Akins); his children, Billie Jean Nicholson, Larry (Barbara Russell), Carolyn (Tim Harper) and Joan (Mike Brackett); his grandchildren, Angela Joan Nicholson, Bryan, Deidra Russell, Christopher Wayne Russell, Marian Leah Harper, Jessica Lee Harper, Amy Melissa and Josh Gifford; and his half-brother Elmer Russell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
