He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Hughes and Elsie Hughes; his son Ollie Hughes; and his brother Ronnie Hughes. He is survived by: his brother Floyd Hughes (Judy); his nieces and nephews, Shane Hughes, Jeff Hughes, B. J. Hughes, Shena Gilmore and Tammy Newbowles; his great-niece Nickie Gilmore; and his close friend Donna Leonard.
