She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Rucker and Martha Rucker (Stooksbury); her former husband Andy Purdy; and her siblings, Roxie Dills, Pauline Shell, Ann Miller, Sara Mae Ladd, Edith Easter and Jack Rucker.

She is survived by: her husband Joe E. Ratledge; her son Randy; her daughter-in-law Yvonne Purdy; her stepson Eddie (Tiffany Ratledge); her grandsons, Bradley Scott Purdy and Patrick Kevin Purdy; her stepgrandchildren, Haley Ratledge, Trevor Bibee and Jake Ratledge (Desera); and her brother I. J. (Fran Rucker).
