She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Chrisman; her parents, Herman McGinnis and Retha McGinnis (Frye); her siblings, Jim, Bob, Roy McGinnis and Virginia Giles; and her granddaughter Tosha Cozart.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Purdy (Kim Galyon), Henry Purdy III (Letha Humphreys) of Loudon and Retha Bell (Jeff Purdy) of Texas; her stepchildren, Linda and Clifford; her sisters, Ruby O'Kain, Nell Jago, Kat Turbyfill (Charlie) and Hattie McNabb (Keith); and her caregiver Janet Gentry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
