He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Amy Beals; his parents, Willis Cochran and Mary Alice Cochran; and his siblings, Jean, Vere, Rex, Doris, John and Dayle.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Abel; his children, Dianne Renner (John), Mark Cochran and Paul Cochran; his stepdaughters, Debra Landrum (Dave) and Julie Hoyer (Scott); and his sister Janet Henderson (Fick). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Alzheimer's Research or to the Neurological Research Foundation.
