He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart O. Iddins, Sr. and Margaret Vasey Iddins; his wife Retta Heifner Iddins; his son Lieutenant Colonel (Iddins); and his brother Robert F. Iddins.

He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Iddins Krantz (Clarence Krantz) and Carol Iddins; and his grandchildren, Ashley Iddins, Sarah Iddins Baker, Mary Iddins, Lindsey Iddins Erickson, Emily Iddins Watson, Alex Krantz, Andy Krantz and Samuel Krantz. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
