With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin M. Johnson (Loudon, Tennessee), who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giles Johnson and Janie Johnson; his wife Patsy Johnson; and his siblings, Bernell Mayhew and Aubrey Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Jeff Johnson (Masako) of Leesburg, VA; his stepdaughters, Lisa S. Farley (Bill) of Huddleston, VA and Jennifer A. Jarvis (Bill) of Southport, NC; his siblings, Ann Roach of Gretna, VA, Eleanor Amos of Jacksonville, FL and Mack Johnson of Gretna, VA; his grandchildren, Yusuke Johnson (Niki) of Leesburg, VA, Erik Johnson (Rachel) of Philadelphia, PA, Logan Jarvis (Pate) of Charlottesville, VA and Hannah Westover (Baxter) of Charlotte, NC; and his great grandchild Jolie G. Westover.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Community Church at Tellico Village.
